Criteria to apply:
- Licensed real estate salesperson, associate broker, broker, or affiliate member prior to applying.
- Primary Maryland REALTORS® and local board/association member in good standing.
- Desire to engage or advance in leadership opportunities in Maryland REALTORS® and/or your local board/association.
- Participation in all sessions is mandatory. Applicants for the 2026 class must commit to the following dates:
October 9, 2025: Orientation and Organizational Leadership
November 13, 2025: Effective Communications/Media Relations
December 11, 2025: Professional Conduct & Association Governance
January 9, 2026: Organizational Long-Range Planning
February 11, 2026: The Role of the Association in Legislation/Government Affairs
March 12, 2026: Diversity in Business
April 9, 2026: Finale: The Leadership Journey
April 23, 2026: Leadership Academy Graduation and Recognition Lunch
In addition to the classes listed above, Leadership Academy participants must complete and show proof of completion to Leadership Academy staff of the following courses prior to graduation:
