Legislative

Description

The Committee assesses the impact of specific bills on the real estate industry, and based on Maryland REALTORS® policy and legislative agenda, determines whether Maryland REALTORS® will support or oppose those bills.  The Committee works directly with Maryland REALTOR® lobbyists in advancing a pro-real estate legislative agenda.

Meetings

Number of meetings per year – 6 to 8.  Meets weekly beginning in January through early March.  Meets infrequently, at the call of the Chair, during the rest of the year.

Attendance Requirements

Attendance at Lobby Day is expected.
Members may attend in person or via conference call.
