REALTOR RALLY
ANNAPOLIS REALTOR RALLY - ROUND TWO! The rally is 9:00 am – 10:30 am, November 1st . We will be posting more information as it becomes available. The tentative plans are as follows:
9:00 am -- Meet Lawyers Mall, check in, pick up pamphlets
9:30 am – Rally, Address by MAR President, and direction for morning activities
9:50 am – Visit offices and drop information off
10:30 am – Board buses for departure
1 pm -- Hearing *
* If you plan to attend the hearing BE FOREWARNED that because the hearing will cover many different subjects, it is possible that the hearing on the property management tax won’t start until 4-6 pm, and that there is limited seating.
Given the nature of a Special Session, many legislators will not be around the day of the hearing (just the committee members). Consequently, we want members to visit the Delegate and Senate offices and leave talking points and BUSINESS CARDS so that they know you were there.
BUS TRANSPORTATION to Annapolis will be made available by MAR with participating local association/boards. Come back to this site to see which boards/associations will be providing transportation. If you choose to drive, parking is available at various garages in Annapolis; however, we encourage you to park at Navy Stadium where ample parking is available as well as a shuttle to take you to Lawyers’ Mall in front of the State House.
ACTION ALERTS FOR CALLS and EMAILS WILL CONTINUE...PLEASE RESPOND when you are alerted again...even though you responded before -- the issue will be changing along with the message and we will need to KEEP THE PRESSURE ON -- CALLS WILL BE CRITICAL!
